That old chestnut Eric. You could apply that to many sports. Formula 1 is usually contested by only 2 drivers, The SPL, Bundesliga, and many other European leagues are only contested by a few teams, the Cricket world cup has only ever had 6 different winners, the football world cup has only ever had 8 different winners, Tennis grand slams, both men and women, are usually contested by the top 4 players etc etc.
For those posters on here who don’t like Rugby union, do the simple thing, and just avoid the thread. There aren’t many threads on here about it at any given time, and the clue is usually in the title.

Not just rugby teachers our football coaches in school used to pick sides by tapping you hard in the stomach as they went along the line and then used to put the best side against the rest - no good for those in the school side and certainly no fun for those who didn't enjoy football - lot of scumbags as teachers in my school including those who were overtly racist to some of the students - one or two at max I would say hallo to if I saw them today

I wish those same rugby gods intervened like that in the World cup 😂👍

It makes sense if you’ve had 12 pints

The reason I've stopped watching rugby altogether. Far too many petty rules which completely disrupt the flow of play.

They didn't really beat the world champions, they beat the B side. None the less it was a great win.

Really enjoyed that game - Perhaps not a classic, but there is something about a tense, low-scoring rugby game I enjoy.
Proper cheered when the kick went over and was a great atmosphere in the pub. Set up nicely for next week now

Agree about low scoring games, two of the best live games I’ve seen ended up 6-6 and 9-9.
