Page extends Wales contract to 2026...

Seems reasonable to me. Gives him and the team more certainty before the World Cup and removes any lingering doubt whether he was still keeping the seat warm for Giggs (although only Giggs can be left thinking that). For those worried about getting rid after a bad World Cup I'm sure the FAW were also worried about keeping him if we are the suprise package of the tournament.

Should have been two years at the most. They crash out of the World Cup and what happens then ?

We move onto the Euro qualifiers. Just getting to the World Cup Finals is a huge achievement

On reflection I'm going with it was the right thing to do. Getting Wales to a WC is massive. He can dine out for the rest of his life on this achievement alone. It doesn't matter what happens in Qatar.
