Re: WALES v U.S.A. Match thread. 21st Nov - 7pm
Fun Facts:
Only Roberts & Bale for Wales not playing in a Top 5 European league.
Only one home-based player in the US starting XI (Zimmerman - Nashville FC).
Ampadu & Adams were flatmates at RB Leipzig.

Re: WALES v U.S.A. Match thread. 21st Nov - 7pm
I think the coach's selection and likely set up is a pretty much the right choice for this game.
The U.S. are the second youngest squad in the competition. They will be going 100mph and we need to live with that for the first 20-30 minutes before looking to sneak one. I think we've a bit more finesse and guile than the yanks but I think Pulisic will make a monkey out of Roberts and above all we don't want to be chasing the game. You'd say that if Ramsey and Bale were anything like fit there would be much more confidence within the ranks. Important that the coach has prepared the team to know what to do if Wales go in front or if they go behind. No headless chickens today.
Feeling nervous. :wales:

Ampadu is the key man, if he doesn't get a grip on midfield fairly quickly it's going to be a long night.

Would have had Ward in over Hennessy, hope that doesn’t come back to bite us.

Re: WALES v U.S.A. Match thread. 21st Nov - 7pm
Not sure why we pass it around the back and then lump it upfield aimlessly without Kieffer on the pitch. Getting to half time and reorganizing looks like it will be an achievement right now.
