Its bugging me now
You’re right I think - pretty sure we beat the jacks 1-0 on Easter Monday 1980 and then lost by the same score to Leicester the following day, both games were played at Ninian Park.

Bristol City away and then the 3 3 draw in 1980 wasn't it?
Either way I remember going to two games on consecutive days around that time

If Lindon Jones got sent off at Bristol I think I came over from the Isle of Man for both of those games with my dad. We were definitely at the 3-3 and I've been to a dull nil nil at Ashton gate as a kid

Correct
I was at the back of the Bob bank, when he touched the ball, and finished up at the fence by the time we stopped celebrating

That was the game I learned the lesson of stay to the end of a game. We were 3-1 down with a few minutes left, so me and my brother walked out behind the Canton Stand listening to the game on the radio. We then had to walk past the ground on Sloper Road, but Peter Kitchen scored as we reached the Grange End with all of the Swansea fans on it. The exit gate was open, so we could see the goal City were attacking from Sloper Road and decided to stay there and watch the goal (we could see to about the edge of the six yard box) and see what happened.
We heard the commentator say City had a free kick and could see the Swansea keeper Dave Stewart stood on the line, but weren’t expecting much because we were being told it was too far out for a shot. The next thing we knew, Stewart dived and the ball rocketed past him into the top of the net. We both knew who’d scored before the commentator confirmed it - it couldn’t have been anyone else.
So, when someone asks me if I saw Buchanan’s goal against the jacks, I answer I did and I didn’t.

No, only Amazon for now I'm afraid - I'll look to get some copies available in the Trust Office after Christmas.
