Well, a failed roofer from swansea managed to get them up and keep them up quite easily for years so I guess almost anyone with some knowledge of business and football….something we haven’t had since the taffia ousted hammam

A new manager isn't going to suddenly get players who don't score goals suddenly scoring with pearls of wisdom.
Tan won't give any money even if the window was open because Cornelius and a few others were duds.
A change of tactics and a bit of confidence in what the manager is trying to do would make a huge difference, looks like Hudson is losing or has lost the dressing room. I reckon he'll be gone pretty quick, Tan would lose a further fortune if we go down.

I can see Hudson gone (hopefully, fingers crossed) by the time we play our next league game. I won't hold me breath though. As you rightly say Tan would lose an absolute fortune if we went down. Surely even he can see that?

Maybe we'll beat Leeds again and go on an upward spiral while they spin down out of control again.
Or something.

As soon as we are in the bottom 3, he’ll be gone.
God knows what we’ll end up with

They have probably already spoke to Warnock and he’s probably said wait until after the cup game.

Yes, giving him money was a disaster, I said he should have been replaced upon promotion. But we have no money and unlikely to be able to bring in many if any, that’s when he’s at his best. He would find or make a striker out of someone be it reserve like Zohore or right back like Patterson. He would find a way to keep us up.

A new manager is a necessity. It is our only option to turn around things.
Tan has spent millions on place since Cornelius. You just love a whinge.

I mean, why would Tan have him back.
I understand fans would...

Warnock was a pundit on Sky today (the Watford Norwich game) and went out of his way to reference a bad refereeing decision against Cardiff. He did the same a few weeks ago. Showing he's keeping an eye on the club and feels the pain. Felt a bit like a 'come and get me' pitch. I think it would be a mistake (even as a short term get-out-of-gaol fix) but nothing would surprise me. Sure he still speaks to Dalman regularly.

I think given he won’t be able to spend any money in the transfer market, bringing in warnock until the end of the season with a good bonus for keeping us up makes complete sense.
We still need a long term plan but we are in no position to be crafting a style of play and need to grind out some results unfortunately

Have you read some of your own stuff recently?
As for Tan having spent millions since Cornelius, he is a self appointed member of the transfer committee. If he had the wool pulled over his eyes he's been doing it partly to himself.
Just because money is spent doesn't mean a transfer will always work out. Then you'd think he might know that given his position on the committee but maybe not.
Here's a cutting edge idea. If you know **** all about the subject matter do not put yourself as head of a committee dealing directly with it.

Because he is the only manager picked while Tan has been owner that he has had any relative success with.

Well he doesn’t have much to lose, he won’t get any money to spend and probably gives us a better chance of staying up.

But Tan goes on about people blowing his money on shit players. I understand he won't have a budget, but if he can't trust him why would he have him back?
"I've told everyone you're an untrustworthy money wasting fella, do you want to work for me?"

Yes, I think so, the reason being last time he saved us from relegation and transformed the team to move us up the table without spending a fortune, in the first half season.
There are no new players so he will be required to motivate and get more out of the current players, he seems to have the ability to get a short-term lift so will be ideal until the end of the season.
The planning should be underway for the very best Manager we can get after the end of the season, cheap bad Managers cost you ten times more in the long run.

I agree, he will have had the same situations many times before and will find a way of playing and creating more opportunities for the Strikers and building some confidence.

I don't want to go on like a stuck record so I'll just bow out now

Re: How long until the next new Cardiff City Manager?
Warnock should have been sacked the minute we got promoted, proven failure at that level. He should have been sacked when we got relegated. The guy is 74, anybody who thinks he's the answer need to give their head a wobble.
