Not the line up I would have gone for but at least he’s trying something new. Harsh on Robinson but let’s see what happens.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Robinson hasn't had lots of service but he has been as ineffective as the others up front recently

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Fourth start for Romaine Sawyers?
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I don't quite understand what Sawyers has done to keep starting, but then, what other options are there?

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Well it's an interesting one

That’s my take too - nothing ventured

He's not a bad footballing midfielder

I went down to see Liverpool on my own in 1957, 11 at the time and a fabulous 6-1 win. Like you I’m in an emotional state due to several reasons, divorce, having to pay off my spouse and the end of a relationship. Also had between Christmas and new year a 4 hour operation and stuck in the Heath for 11 days without any visitors..when you’re on your own you can get emotional. A City win tonight would ease things and give everyone a lift. Anyway onwards and ………

Dropping Robinson is a strange one for me. Long balls galore it would seem

Pretty much what I've just said to a mate.
Wouldn't have Sawyers in but not sure who we'd pick in his place in that line up.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
For me, as each game passes without a win, the more daunting each match becomes. I really expect a defeat with a couple of missed chances - I just hope I'm wrong.

Long balls maybe, but with O'Dowda and Romeo as wing backs I'm hoping for a major increase in quality crosses for the big lads!
Then if that doesn't work on to Plan B in the second half - Ojo, Robinson and Philogene, with Wickham thrown on with 10 to go.

I guess he can find a pass better than the others, which isn’t hard. I think he suits a middle 3 than the middle 2 he has been used in recently.
I think Rino or Wintle will end up pushing forward .

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hoofball returns. The passing experiment did not work but let's hope performance improves.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Needed to try something different. Hopefully this will work.

This Sky commentator is already annoying me. It’s the gap in between words lol.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
When Sky showed the teams there was no mention of Wickham on the bench.
