I think it’s stupid when people say a goalkeeper should have saved a penalty, but the Solihull keeper should have stopped Bromley’s first one in the shoot out.
Congratulations to Bromley and, hopefully, Solihull will go up next season.
One of my neighbours and a good friend was a Bromley supporter.
Sadly, he died last year so just in case there is something after the alloted time down here I hope he is having a drink in football heaven.
He avoided the ball that, although powerful, was shot straight at him, his body went like a Bendy Wendy doll to avoid it. It was very much saveable.Quote:
