I habitually check flashscores app and noticed the Welsh teams results.

Would make a massive difference to the teams if they could start to get a bit more money out of these qualifying games.

Spectacular result. There is another thread on it somewhere.

They will go out next round to Legia Warsaw but I believe they get £350 for this, plus gate receipts, so it's a huge amount at that level and also when competing with English non league teams for platers etc

Nah they are in the conference league already so I'm pretty sure if they lose they will be out.

TNS have a decent chance of it though

I'm not so sure that 350 quid is all that huge an amount if I'm honest.

Bala knocked out by a 120th minute goal.

Connah's Quay knocked out after conceding in the 88th min to take game to extra time and then conceding again 5 mins from the end of added time.

came on to mention Bala town. Won 1-0 to take the game into extra time after losing the first leg 2-1 and lost in 120th minute...thats got to hurt.

Always here for the elderly in need. Can you imagine a stadium like that these days? You'd need excellent traffic management and public transport. They wouldn't be allowed to use it at full capacity these days.

That Brazil/Uruguay game in 1950 must have been mental, 200,000 estimated attendance, could well have been more.

TNS have a massive game tonight, 1-0 down from the away first leg. If they manage to overturn it they're in the Europa League play off or at least the Conference League group stage! Wonder if/how much the Moldovans have played on an artificial pitch before?

Probably the biggest game in domestic Welsh football ever?

Bottom line the Welsh League is of a poor standard, maybe except TNS.

I more so meant in terms of significance of what it means, not as in who the opponent is. If TNS win they are guaranteed an insane amount of money, more than any Welsh club has "won" before? Probably in the region of £3-4 million pounds

Porto are undoubtably bigger than Petrocub...

If that's true (and I've no reason to doubt you), it only highlights how insane European football has become.

TNS's attendances for their two home European games so far this season:

810 v Decic Tuzi (whoever they may be)
1,022 v Ferencvaros

To put that into perspective, Tamworth v Sutton drew a crowd of 1,676 in the National League on Saturday.

From what I can gather, TNS have already been knocked out of the Champions League and may be knocked out of the Europa League this evening, but they may still end up in the Europa Conference League. Is that right? If so, it's crazy.
