Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
O'Dowda doesn't know whether to push up field or babysit Daland.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
Getting absolutely carved open. This is how you counter attack away from home. Daland looks rusty.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
Three totally unnecessary free kicks given away now by NG

Did he really just give THEM the free kick after they elbowed Robertson in the face?!

Their player led with his arm to the head; very dangerous. I would have expected a red card and not a free kick Blackburn. Am I missing something?

Is it too soon now to say El-Ghazi is a bit shit?
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
This referee is ****ing awful.
Books the keeper for time wasting then gives one minute added time??
Then gives the foul against Robertson.
Get El Ghazi off he's not doing anything for me and too lazy tracking back.

Absolute shitshow of a decision.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
Playing Willock as a striker is not going to work. It didn’t work against Norwich and it’s not working again today.
Some of our build up play is okay but we have no threat in front of goal.
Need much more from Willock and El Ghazi, both have been very disappointing.
Daland looks off the pace and Ng seems more concerned with winding up his opponent than playing football
It was a fine goal scored by them and they look quick and dangerous on the break whereas , despite a lot of ball in and around their box, we carry very little threat

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
Is it just me or has Colwill been poor for the last 2 games including first half today? He seems to be losing a lot of balls. I hope he does something second half.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
45 mins for Riza to make the clubs decision making a bit easier.

Agree with all of this.

He's gone back to not being strong on the ball and/or making the right decisions.
Could be tiredness. Could be one eye on Wales.
Either way, I'd still start him every single game because he's the only real hope we have.

I think he's just a player who will never reach peak condition in his playing career. He's young, but has looked tired these last few games.

Tanner ball watching and not much effort tracking back for their goal, El Ghazi very poor 45 mins

Yup, fine lines and all that.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
No comments about Turnbull & Robertson? Both getting bypassed and totally ineffective. They’re so far forward we’re basically playing with a front six. Huge spaces in front of Daland & Goutas. I’m all for Riza’s style but we have to accept consequences of no defensive midfielder.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
Meite on at the half again, this time for El Ghazi.

Cantwell is a similar kind of player but he looked a class above Colwill in that half.
We've got no threat in the 6 yard box- the only way we're going to score is from a shot outside the area.

Same here. Without a striker we are going nowhere.
I'm not sure what Colwill is supposed to do with nobody making runs or showing to the ball for him. As shite as Kanga and Meite are, I think they'd look better up front than this no-headed monster he seems to be trying to make work.

I strongly disagree that anyone could advocate Kanga being on the pitch.
He's never even so much as managed to get grass stains on his his shorts in the time he's been with us!

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BLACKBURN ROVERS. Match thread
Millwall currently 1-up away to Stoke, and now 4th in the table.
