On the other hand, truthpaste seems to think that the great majority of humanity are influenced by Satan, a character without a church network, without a tome for his believers, without his teachings being prumulgated in schools and contained in national anthems, without states collecting taxes on his behalf, without inquisitions and torture nor what the cost would be for not believing in him. truthpaste's version of 'God' seems to have cocked-up big time whichever way you look at it. Presumably, besides the stick and carrot he promulgated (being born sinners and going to hell nless you believe in him) the bloody peasants went off and believed in other gods, different versions of the Abrahamic gods or simply not at all - and many Christians decided to become what my lay preacher friend describes as "pick and mix" i.e. they consider stories such as Genesis as not being literal.
If truthpaste's god exists, he's quite a spectacular failure.
