Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Exclude the opening day defeat, we've done the following:
6 games in the league without a win
6 games in the league without defeat
6 games in the league without a win
Time to start 6 games in the league without defeat on Saturday.

It's gone dark around here - there's a herd of flying pigs blocking out the sun.

Interesting thats the perception when our last 11 are

Our worst run away for over 10 years. Yet a perception seems to be we are better away?

Yep, 1999/2000. In 1996 we managed 16 games without a win away from home. 1932/33 was the crowning moment here, though. Didn't win away all season and went a total of 23 aways without a win, drawing only 3.

The only good thing there is Kpakio making the bench.

Couple of surprises in there, but something had to be done to reverse the shit shows recently.
Assume it's usual433, but a chance it's 532 with Rinhomota at rb

No NG at all - injured or dropped? It’s 5 at the back isn’t it with Rinhomota at RB?
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Left back seems to have a revolving door.

Looks like it'll be 5 at the back to me but having effectively 4 wingers stating and not at at RWB seems a little unbalanced.

A starting 11 which has scored a combined total of 4 (four) goals this season. What could possibly go wrong?

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’ve given up analysis on the starting XI. It’s just not worth it.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
so likely
Alnwick
Chambers Goutas Daland
Rinomhota Ralls Siopis O'dowda
El Ghazi Meite Willock
but possibly
Alnwick
Chambers Goutas Daland O'dowda
Ralls Siopis Rinomhota
El Ghazi Meite Willock

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The Wales Online match blog is (once again) not a Wales Online blog - but this time a StokeonTrentLive blog.
A Wales Online banner but all the content is from the Stoke local media.
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...f34a8a829ae9dc
Have Wales Online completely given up? I know they don't attend many away matches any more, but I thought they blogged from one of the audio commentary providers (club or BBC Wales). Seems not.
They have also stopped doing live coverage of the pre-match press conferences and just do a few 'after the event' mop up stories.
At the same time the club are providing less media (in fact communication in general) than in previous years.
