Agreed, he's more suited to a Lawyer's role rather than a Politician's. And he's exceedingly lacklustre
Re: Get Rid Of Starmer ASAP
current stats don't bode well for Starmer
Labour has lost 11% of its members since the election—over 9,500 gone in just two months. That’s one member quitting every 10 minutes
From 348,500 members last July to just 309,000 today—a big decline.
can he survive this ?

For instance the wfa debate, in my mind not the wrong policy but because of their approach it has been a grenade, they said 'we had to do it to fill X gap in funding, difficult choices etc.', rather than 'it is poorly targeted welfare'. This would have rescued them down the line when the increase in pension credit claimants was brought up to pick apart the 'removing wfa saves x billion', it just feels a bit amateurish. Another one is when the supermarkets en masse called out the government for hurting farmers, which, whether it's delusional or deliberate deception, is massively hypocritical given their history of squeezing every penny out of farmers, not a peep from the adults in the room because they don't want to upset anybody.
In terms of policy, tax system is becoming more and more regressive every year that it puts more focus on income than wealth. Social care needs massive reform. I'd love to see some sort of push towards British people gaining/retaining collective ownership of British assets. I say an article the other day about the ownership of major airports across Europe, mostly having some public ownership, Heathrow is owned by random countries and companies across the world. We seem to find ourselves in a situation where we provide capital investment or guarantees in things to encourage private investment and it ends up being a gift or bung basically. Some way of encouraging growth past a certain point in successful startups, it feels like everyone has read entrepreneur 101 and has their exit entirely setup before they have even started. It means every time we build something useful, it gets sold to Google the week after the founders reach their retirement number. No idea how you do that though.
There's probably loads more.
Britain and Europe are already done, and if you haven't got an exit plan you are not paying attention.

There were about 600,000 members when Starmer became leader.
He doesn’t like members. Too many have an opinion. No need for them to fund the party any more - he has big donors and lobbyists for that. Not much need for them as election foot soldiers either now he has discovered social media and AI. Members have a habit of supporting policies and ideas that are embarrassing to Starmer and his backers. Too many of them think the party is a democratic organisation - not an annual rally to clap the executive. Better off without menbers!

The old days of your local labour or conservative clubs or associations are on their arse
I always found local political groups boring and the socialist Labour party during college days was just an excuse for a piss up
I am not saying the USA model of politics is great but it's the way it is
Here we are complaining about social media .....on social media
When rumours and political nonsense such as the rubbish spread by farage and his idiots are the norm then the modern labour party .....or any political party doing the same and using the power of the internet to get people to vote for them isn't going to end anytime soon
There seems little point in pandering to the local party members if the real political battle is taking place over the internet
