Four bed four baths, just two of us now and I use water butts, for the grass and garden.
If any of your toilets are slightly leaking, Welsh Water will repair them for you, so please get that done, as you are paying for any water wasted in leaks if you have a meter.

I think they try and do them outside if they can, depends on the street.

Depends on location of stop tap which will already have a cover and room for a meter normally no digging required

See gas going up again, glad I’m fixed deal….so not funny that they say wholesale prices go up, then a few months later they tell us their profits are through the roof again….begs the question why they need to raise prices then? Of course, they don’t, they just do because they can get away with it…

We did have the water meter fitted this week, it was fitted near the Kerb just outside the house which worked out perfectly, I didn't want my drive dug up as i had a resin drive laid a few years ago, because it took a while for them to sort it, W Water did reduce our water bill to just over £40 p/m which is great but now the meter is installed we will use the water as we normally do without making any conscious effort to reduce at this time just to see the saving based on our normal use we'll then take it from there and cut down where possible.
