Yeah and he’s never got it right…..

if there was a proven manager who could guarantee us promotion then I have no doubt that Tan would be happy to pay for it. unfortunately they don't exist..
Board members are on record as saying Tan does not see the value in managers, and is fed up of getting burnt. He would not appoint a proven manager and pay them what it takes to get them here, as he does not believe they're value for money.

It’s bonkers, isn’t it.
He continues to hand over buckets of money to Dalman & Choo who have shown themselves to be completely incompetent.

I'm no fan of Vincent Tan, quite the opposite, but you can understand maybe why he's a little reluctant to put a football man in charge when the last time he did exactly that the football man pissed the entire Premiership kitty and parachute payment up the wall on utter dross and there's more than a few questions about whether it was all above board. We can't really make the argument both ways.
Are you talking about Warnock? As good as he was for getting us up he was never a keeper, although he almost did keep us up.
He was hardly an inspiring up and coming manager though, we knew what we were getting and Tan didn’t really back him.

Yeah, they must of cost him £150 million yet he still keeps them on earning millions, it’s just bizarre

Tan fell out with Malky which impacted the team and then compounded it by giving Ole the job who wasn't the right fit for a relegation fight. After relegation and a poor start , Tan then decided he no longer trusted the managers with his money nor their transfer choices and started the succession of hiring "cheap" managers. We started to fall down the table over the following seasons even with parachute payments , he eventually got Warnock who turned us around, got us promoted but we blew it again !! The Warnock effect wore off and after yet another poor start after relegation , he was replaced by Harris who turned it around and got to play offs but failed and since then we have been on a downward spiral of new manager , rebuild, new manager ( cheaper option) ,rebuild, survive , new manager , rebuild, new manager ( cheaper option), rebuild, survive but will we see a break in the chain this time??? we need 3 wins I think, a big ask as he has only won 5 league games from 27 since he took charge
