All out attack. 6-5 Cardiff.
That team look a little unbalanced to me
Rino, Fish Goutas Chambers Bagan
At the back and then the five up front
Midfield is just a waste of time anyway
Five st the back and Five up front will do it
Classic Subutteo line up
That’s the sort of imaginative approach needed to be a top coach

All 11 to us?

Once again, I salute each and every (clueless?) supporter going to Sheffield today.

My 11:
Rhino - ng injured
Fish - better than the rest
Bagan - because he’s not Goutas or daaland
O’dowda - no alternative
Mannsverk - only midfielder with energy
Turnbull - not deserved but allegedly can pass
Alves - can cross
Rubin - best link I’ve seen this season is him and tanner
Tanner - can cross
Salech. - can head.
Then cross your fingers

Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Time for these players to stand up for themselves. We have a team that has players who have international caps and players who have played in the top divisions around Europe. These are not Sunday morning parks players, although at times you would think so, these are players who at the very least should have an ambition not to have a relegation on their CV.
They've played enough games to be able to make onfield decisions to improve their chances of winning.
We know about the mess at ownership level, board level and manager level but the players can do something about it and it's on them that we start the day with a little bit of hope left.
Plymouth, Luton, Derby, Hull, Stoke, Oxford, Pompey have all pulled off impressive results in recent weeks to change the mood at those clubs. Now it's time for our lot to give us something to cheer about.

I have a sneaky suspicion we're going to win today. False hopes etc

Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Burnley are currently losing. That's got to be bad news for us as it will give Sheff Utd a big incentive to win.

Absolutely. A Burnley win here would put heads down in the dressing room knowing it wasn't in their hands any more. Now if this result holds they'll be looking to go ahead of them on Easter Monday and goal difference could well come into play as well.

Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Earlier in the season I watched lowly Hull thrash Sheffield Utd at Bramall Lane whilst in Tenerife, it’s a Friday, I’m in Tenerife and lowly City are at Bramall Lane. Cant see lightning striking twice as it’s sunny as f*ck here!!

Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This is what it's come to. The ultimate humiliation, celebrating a Swansea goal.

Chambers back at centre back with 2 cbs on the bench, Simic also on the bench
Robinson injured?

Salech and Meite from the start, going to be a lot of fans with neck strain this evening. Alves in the 10 I assume?
-
Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
What combination of centre backs is this now?
Can't see anything from this game.
Would be interested to at least see Simic come on.

One out would be fine.
Our injured list is: Alnwick, Ralls, Ramsey, Ng, Robinson and Davies - with Collins and El Ghazi banished somewhere.

I did until I saw the team sheet.

Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
if we are playing 4-4-2 we have to get crosses in, early and often.

I perhaps should have worded it better. No mention of Robinson being injured and then the teams announced and he’s out. Happens every game.
-
Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hopefully it's Tanner on the left and Alves on the right but I can guarantee it won't be
-
Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
So it’s all change again and we go with 2 target men starting together for the first time this season
No continuity whatsoever
