Re: CARDIFF CITY v OXFORD UTD. Match thread
Watching the Oxford v Leeds game, Oxford were clearly 2nd best for much of the game. However, they never folded(like us) and could easily have snatched a draw.
Clearly a limited, but hard working side who rely largely on set pieces for their goals. They do not concede a lot, but also dont score heavily.
Hope we will be able to cope with Vaulks long throws.
This should be a low scoring game. I have serious doubts but hope the Ramsey effect will see us home.
2-1 City

Mark Harris will score a screamer after 20 minutes to burst our bubble after some encouraging early attacks

1-1 and Ramsey calls the fans thick as shit.

I was going to say similar. Not a good choice under the circumstances.

Some quick recoveries there. Ng had a cast on few days ago and Colwill limped off with what looked like a hammie!

Just out of curiosity...Does anyone else feel a bit of sympathy for Simic?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v OXFORD UTD. Match thread
It wouldn't be Cardiff City if it didn't go to the last game so I'm going for a reasonably convincing win today.

If that means Chambers back in central defence.... I am not convinced.

Willock over Alves is a strange one. Hopefully inspired 🤞

He scored a few good goals in the u21s but so did Reindorf.
He had an interesting and promising career before Cardiff, but not much evidence he is ready for the Championship yet. Presumably Ramsey is as unconvinced as Riza based on u21 and training ground performances.
He got one experience of the bench. Now it is up to him to force his way into the squad over the summer.
No sympathy - I don't think he has been badly treated. Hopefully in time he becomes as good as the club hoped he would.

For the life of me I can’t see why Bagan is not a shoe-in for left-back.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v OXFORD UTD. Match thread
Willock, Ng and Ashford in and Rino in midfield with Mannsverk, Robertson presumably at the 10? A slightly more sensible lineup but hardly a revolutionary change or going for goals, hope the new manager bounce is enough on it's own to get over the line.

Agree, I'm honestly stunned to see Willock over Alves, but they must see something with his game that they don't like after he gets hauled off on 45 minutes last time. I thought he was by far the most likely of our players to make something happen in that first half.

3-0 city, easy work. And the sun is shining.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v OXFORD UTD. Match thread
Derby 1 - 0 up.
Ebou Adams should have given away a penalty in his own box (looked clear) then at the other end nodded Derby in front from a corner.
