We just have never got a good defensive modifier. Going down he’s exactly what we need imo. It’s going to be a battle, everyone wanting to beat Cardiff, large away followings, low home followings.

There's an article from Wales Online reviewing Morison's signings. The one thing that strikes me is it seems to suggest that he was either instrumental in the signings or at least had a major influence. That's a major departure from where the club had been in the past 3 years since when the club has adopted a more 'scientific' and analytical approach to player recruitment. Whatever algorithms the likes of Deboys and his fellow scientists are working to, they've failed to include pace and strength to the criteria. It's a damning indictment of the squad that none of us can name a stand-out player.

Of course if we can get a good defensive midfielder who also likes to “play” wonderful although I doubt it, next season is going to be more physical than ever in league one and we are far to soft.

We have to find players who can pass a football, make quick decisions, give the ball to a blue shirt, open sides up. We've got enough cloggers, Ebou Adams isn't a very good footballer.
