I have little doubt that a good portion of this group of players are a lot less upset by what’s happened than you are.

On the other hand, ChatTBG states: "We have been p*ss poor for a few seasons and the inevitable has now happened. Vincent Tan, the owner and who hasn't been seen at a game for almost two and a half years, is to due diligence and football knowledge what Trump is to empathy and international relations".
Seems standard practice. If we're losing 5-0 at half-time, they'll post "City with it all to do in the second half", or "U21s behind at the break". Those in football will often call a spade the most exciting utensil in the shed. I agree it's daft but can't upset the players, err, I mean our gallant heroes who just fell short.
Still no acknowledgment about our relegation on the club website, just the “will be competing in League one” drivel.
I asked the question as to whether the Trust could have delayed sending their critical message out on Sunday for a day or two to give the club a chance to respond to our relegation. Turns out it would have made no difference at all as the club policy appears to close your eyes, put your hands over your eyes and shout la, la, la loudly in the hope that our relegation will somehow go away.
The Blues Are Changing Leagues!
Cardiff City clinch a position in League 1, with a game to spare!
I agree with him.
Had we stayed up we would all know what shit to expect next season. We will spend some big money on more expensive wages and the players won't deliver. We will change manager and appoint more people with zero experience as the club will think they are getting away with it.
Since 2021 we have been very predictable in this league and its been predictably shit and boring.
Now we've gone down though I can't call how it's going to go. The club may make some changes off the pitch and reflect how badly they've messed up. Or they may not. This squad and our youngsters may do ok in league 1 and give us some exciting moments. Or they may not.
We could win the league next year with a few changes good appointments etc..... Or we may really struggle.
I'm looking forward to it as I don't know what's going to happen next season and some new teams to play. Sure it will be a heartbreak not playing milwall Watford blackburn etc for a bit but we will be ok. Had we stayed up I feel we all already know what will happen.
Our away support will also come alive next year with more going away and many of the aways selling out really quickly.
:hehe:
With one game to play, we are well on track to finish top in the battle to get into League One next season. All of the signs indicate we are better equipped to settle seamlessly into the mainstream of the new division than the two teams that will accompany us into it.
Cardiff City are trendsetters: relegation is the new promotion!
