Looks like it was knocked up on AI and twitter already has people saying they’re willing to get behind him as he wants to take us back up
Unbelievable. Get the **** gone

All I read into his message is that unfortunately he's going nowhere and we are stuck with him!

Yes I’ve seen posts saying checks state AI probably 95% generated the statements . No idea if this true or not ( I’m not up with Chatgbt or whatever it’s called) but that’s shocking if it is the case , certainly the statements lack any “personality “

It's definitely AI.
I "made" one for them in this thread that took me less than 10 seconds. Maybe they were inspired. It's quite similar?

it doesn't read like AI to me, and seems pretty consistent with the tone that Tab has used previously.
those AI checks are total bollocks, I wouldn't place any value in that assessment.
bearing in mind English isn't his first language, he's probably run it though a translator or something.

o all Cardiff City supporters,
I wish to acknowledge the open letter that has been issued by our Supporters’ Trust. We hear your words and I share your hurt and frustration. Not all decisions when it comes to the First Team have worked as I had hoped for us.
To lose our place in the Championship is upsetting. The important thing is that we regain it at the earliest opportunity and I would like to take this chance to tell you that I am committed to getting us back. A period of review is being undertaken; a permanent manager and management team will be appointed in the coming weeks. As a point of developing strategy, our Board of Directors have begun internal discussions with executive management and staff to strategise and plan for the summer and new season.
To say I don’t care is wrong and I strongly push back on that. I watch every game and speak to the Board and manager before and after each one. My family will tell you: I kick every ball!
We have enjoyed good times together. I can tell all Cardiff City supporters that it is my intention to support correcting the situation we find ourselves in. I want us to all pull in the same direction.
I will make every effort to be in Cardiff at the next opportunity that my scheduling allows. I am sorry that we are where we are this summer. It is now time to rebuild.
Vincent
Am I the only one who wonders if this is actually from Tan?

Re: A personal message from Tan Sri Vincent Tan | 29/04/2025
hilarious, people were complaining that there wasn't an apology or any indication from the club that they want to change. now we've had pretty much exactly what people were wanting and people are saying it was probably written by AI or by someone else.
some of you are just desperate to be angry at him whatever he does? have you all been taking lessons from my ex wife?
if he l
halved the cost of a season ticket some of you would find some way of complaining about that.

Re: A personal message from Tan Sri Vincent Tan | 29/04/2025
If he halved the cost of tickets i would be livid.

Why can’t there be a fans/local review?
Somebody from WalesOnline can easily set up a series of four or five podcasts with FAB members and invite other fans to discuss where things have gone wrong over the past season and beyond - each episode covering a separate area where the club have made a mess of things.
Maybe the first episode could cover the lack of criticism from the local media over several years - helping sustain the status quo in the Cardiff City boardroom - and kick off the series with an apology.

We need actions not words and he needs to show he can put this right

Re: A personal message from Tan Sri Vincent Tan | 29/04/2025
No more than a holding statement to placate the supporters for now.
What we should be having is a proper interview with Tan and Dalman.
Hopefully that will come sooner than later, together with news of managerial appointments and plans going forward.
Or is that too much to ask?

Absolutely!
If this "review" ends with Tan, Dalman and Choo still pulling the strings, prepare for League 2

Do you see Dalman / Choo protests? No
Do you see Bulut protests? No
Have you heard many boo's at the players? Very few.
There's apathy right across the club and it's supporters except when it comes to Tan, (who bankrolled quite a number of signings last summer and January that on the whole, thought we're to be better than it's transpired). When it comes to Tan it's rather targetted and venomous.
That's why I believe he's a scapegoat.
Who appointed Dalman, Choo and Bulut?

Re: A personal message from Tan Sri Vincent Tan | 29/04/2025
Next season will prove whether Tan is a decent owner. It was at this point Dai Yongge pulled the plug at Reading. Once we were relegated from the Championship he didn't want to know.
If Tan is true to his word then I would expect Cardiff City to bounce back very quickly. You will be a big fish in a small pond
Time will tell.

Would rather a proper CEO come in and run the club with a decent manager than a DoF tbh.

I won't accept that Tan has any respect for this fanbase until that ridiculous dragon is removed from our club crest. We have our own dragon. It is our national emblem. It's on our flag FFS! To replace it with a Chinese dragon the epitome of disrespect. And for me shows exactly who Tan is.

I’ve not complained about him quiet, less we hear from the twat the better in my opinion.
You are correct though. He could put 100 million into the club tomorrow and I’d want him gone

Re: A personal message from Tan Sri Vincent Tan | 29/04/2025
lets be honest here, people were moaning they hadn't heard anything from the club, the club make a statement and people are moaning its not " heartfelt enough or written by AI
we all now Tan makes the final decisions, but the day to day running is down to Choo and Dalman who lets face it should have been sacked a long time ago

And who's fault is that?

Remind me, how much money has Dalman’s company loaned the club? And also remind me, who employed Choo as CEO? And also remind me, who brought both Dalman and Choo to Cardiff City FC in the first place?

Same, don’t get the calls for a DoF. What if they turn out to be crap?

On that basis, there's no point in employing a new manager in case he's crap. We can just leave everything to Vinnie.

Me too. A full time CEO with a proven track record within football. I'm sure we could poach one from another club. It would be money well spent. He/she would need the autonomy to run the club without the owner telling them what to do all the time of course.

Here's a wacky idea: why don't City appoint a full-time CEO, a Director of Football and a team manager?
I'm pretty sure a few clubs have gone down this crazy route...
