Absolute tool of a fella is Evatt
Utterly despised at Bolton and makes Steve Morrison appear personable

that's interesting considering how he likes to play football
Wellens favours his teams to play attacking football, believing long ball and defensive minded football to not be suitable to long-term success. He cites former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson as a major influence on his approach. Using a preferred formation of 4-2-3-1, Wellens likes his teams to play out from the back and be patient, Wellens likes his player to maintain a high level of intensity, even during training sessions
If above is true basically carrying on what Bulut tried to adopt when he was here
I notice he was on the short list for Manager of the season for League 1 being pipped by Chris Davies
Think the bit about attacking football reveals a big difference between Wellens and Bulut - our former manager didn't mind playing attacking football in cup games or pre season friendlies, but we saw very little of it when there were league points at stake.
Re: Manager Linked -Richie Wellens
I find it significantly easier to analyse players than managers. You can see a players attributes and always have a backup. Very easy (as we've seen) to pick a dud.
I can't see many managers dropping into League One so may end up being a punt on a up-and-comer from that division.

Probably just a few speculative bets.
I've got a horrible feeling its going to be Buckingham
Out of curiosity why "please no" or "horrible feeling" for Des Buckingham?
- Young but experienced manager
- Very good track record
- Proven (and very recent) experience of getting out of the league we're now in (with a team that hadn't been in the Championship for 25 years)
- Controversially sacked with his team in 20th place (they ended up finishing 17th)
Most people would say he'd be a fairly sound appointment?
