I know what you're saying and I agree with some of it, but on the basis of what I saw yesterday I wouldn't fancy the chances of Charlton's current side in the Championship next season. I also saw bits and pieces of both of the Orient/Stockport semi-final games, and they looked very low on quality too. I didn't see any of the two Charlton/Wycombe games, but the reports suggested they were grim affairs.
What I've seen of the League One play-offs has actually increased my optimism for next season. Our club desperately needs a decent manager and some on-field leaders, no doubt about that, but I think some people are going way over the top about how difficult next season is likely to be.
