If we continue to operate player recruitment in the same way we have for the last 2.5 seasons, it's not going to make much difference whether we have a director of football, or not, nor even who the manager is.

The point is with a DoF and a good manager recruitment, amongst other things, will improve.

We need to get out of this division ASAP. I'd rather have had Warnock on a one year deal than an experiment.

The club has made it a point to go public on their recruitment process, headed up by Deboys. Personally I think it's been disastrous and if it's going to change then that's good news. If it is going to remain the same, then I cannot see any other manager getting this squad to play any differently.
