This is a game we've got to dig deep to win, but the Plymouth game gives me hope that three points is possible. This is also a game where even a tie is not a bad result either, but we should be looking to avoid defeat here as Stockport have looked vulnerable.
Trott
Kpakio-Lawlor-Osho-Bagan
Wintle
Colwill Brothers
Ashford-Salech-Kellyman
2-1 win prediction, goals from Salech and a Kellyman debut winner.
Think I'd play Willock over Ashford on recent form. It'll be interesting to see if Robertson is ft if he displaces Colwill Jnr. Nice having options for a change! 3-1 City. Two from Sarlech and a debut screamer for Kellyman

Has to be injuries fitness concerns for that defence.

Is that 94 first game of the season?
I went up that day if so and didn’t get there till half time due to traffic on the M6.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I can understand Kpakio and Lawlor being rested after their international exertion, but it is a surprise to see Ng and Chambers back. Could alter the whole tempo of the side.

Lawlor has been ill apparently

I think we’ll see plenty of squad rotation too over the next month given the amount of games we’ve got.
Don’t like seeing the break up of that Fish-Lawlor partnership though.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It’s a worry that we’re back to the defence of last season . Bit worried about those players playing out from the back! Hopefully they’ve been practicing under BBM !

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Just had a bet on Stockport scoring 3

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Good management of the youngsters, they haven't been in training, and done a lot of travelling. The senior players should also be motivated to deliver and not be left behind after a great start to the season without them.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This might be the one where we're all brought down earth. It's been an exhilarating opening 6 games, but maybe a bit of reality is heading our way. I hope not, but so far I've found it difficult to figure out just how good we are and how strong/weak this league is.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We have had a fair bit of luck...late goals , ref on our side but that's because they get a lot of hospitality in the principality. Most of the other grounds resemble a pissoir with a deck chair thrown in.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This is a great test for us. Stockport may well have got promoted last season if Birmingham hadn’t stupidly been in League 1.
Probably take a point right now. Maybe that’s just prematch nerves.

We do beg your pardon but we are in your garden....but not doing much in our half so far.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Every time Colwill jnr tries to run forward he gets blocked off, maybe the referee might want to give us something at some point?
-
Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We are getting nothing from the ref.
-
Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Another wanker shit ref. We are going to have players losing it and getting sent off. Salech and Ashford literally getting wrestled to the floor.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Struggling a bit with this camera angle.
It reminds me of a strange camera angle on FIFA.
Stockport look very organized so far.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Is anyone able to get this on their old wireless set? I'm getting the Swansea game on both FM and MW.

Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Ref not going to call fouls then?
Chambers not going to challenge their players in the air then?
-
Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Stockport hit the post. Should have scored.
-
Re: STOCKPORT COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Another shit ref, Chambers is so slow and gets beat in the air every time, no clue what BBM has seen there with Osho and Lawlor on the bench.

He's not even fast enough to get there, total liability
