Don't get me wrong - I'll shed no tears but it's the last thing we need.
What a stupid thing for you to say. I have not attempted to distinguish between whether the PM gets it or a member of the public. I’m merely pointing out that none of us know how our bodies will react/cope if we get the virus.

I can understand people saying no one is more important than the next but its like if you were on a battleship in the war. It would be far worse if the captain got killed that a stoker, much as he is a man just the same

Re: Johnson Admitted to Hospital
There is enough chaos in the governemnt with all this without the problems losing the leader will cause. The country doesn't need or deserve the extra problems it would bring

Tell Anne’s family that.

Hes a moderate tory and a very bright bloke
Johnson is hopeless

Sorry I thought I had replied to Sludge not your post - I was baffled by your comment then so had to read back through the thread.

Unless you quote the post you are replying to, I often get lost in who's replying to who on times.

I have never heard Dominic Raab described as a moderate before.
He was also very unimpressive at the daily press conference in the past week when he has stood in for Johnson - although that is true for most of them - Gove, Sharma, Jenrick. It is frightening when Matt Hancock appears to be the most competent, honest (the jury is out on testing) and adult!

Sunak and Hancock have been the best followed by Gove.
I missed Raab's press conference but heard he wasn't brilliant.

Your attitude stinks. No-one is more important than anyone, and a job title shouldn't move people up a queue for resources. **** off with your hierarchies, and your pecking orders. No-one is more important than Anne, and Anne is no more important than anyone else.

I wasn't talking about Anne, i was making a hypothetical point that in certain circumstances some people are nore pivotal to what goes on than others. If you cannot grasp that then its pointless talking to you

It really is not, it is common sense. It is like saying if Harry Kane is injured, it is no more important than if Vorm got injured.. maybe not morally but when it comes down to the resulting impact it is a significant difference.

Raab was the one who is supposed to have licked his fingers before turning over a piece of paper at the briefing he gave wasn't he?

Yes

Re: Johnson Admitted to Hospital
Hope he, and anyone else in this position, returns to full health soon. I never got the chance to vote Anne out so need Boris back to full health for that.
-
Re: Johnson Admitted to Hospital
All the best to Boris and everyone else currently fighting it.

Boris Johnson and his cronies are a big part of why the situation is so bad, they had every opportunity to get on top of it early but they didn't take it.
He is no more important that the other near 5,000 people who have so far died. But saying that if he dies then it might actually galvanise people and get it through their thick heads that we need to stay in as much as possible and not socialise.

Do you regard the medical experts such as the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Scientific officer as his "cronies" because according to reports they are the ones whose advice he apparently took
( the inevitable public enquiry should hopefully tell us the full story)
