He probably wears it as a badge of honour as he's seen with his fag and a pint

Would you have a little cry if I called you a forelock tugger for all your sucking up to Johnson and Trump's terrible governments?
If so, I won't.

You complain about personal attacks from people you call idiots without the slightest whiff of irony!
Fortunately I have had some very supportive pms that have helped heal the emotional scarring from this and other supposedly jestful abuse!

I don't think a public schoolboy and City trader would ned to worry about the difficulties of road hauliers getting into Kent. He's been patrolling one border to the east, time to focus on the one to the west now!

It might get him a couple of minutes on the telly so I'd imagine he would be delighted.

I think Johnson will get his deal anyway. After all, he can then just renege on it later, to roars of approval from the "stick it to the EU" brigade.

I think it's nice that you stick up for the others in your gang, even a crackpot suggestion like this. That shows real loyalty.

Cheers , we all have views ,some agree with some you don't ,I just happen to think the EU is smarting after failing to disrupt a democrat vote , hate the thought the UK is leaving ,what better vengeance that divide and conquer your foes .

Foes? Do you think France, Germany, Italy and the rest of the EU are now the UK's enemies, and they're seeking revenge?

Re: Brexit - Internal Market Bill - Boris incompetent and lying (again)...
Brexiteers knew what they were voting for. Kent brexiteers have long wanted to turn their county into a carpark just outside the UK border and I congratulate them on achieving their dreams. To any that don't like it, get over it, you won.

How can the EU do this when we hold all the cards?

Surely rogersblue saw that coming? After all, Brexiteers knew exactly what they were voting for and to say otherwise is condescending and patronising.

It's a bit of a demotion from The Garden Of England to The Carpark Of England.

Re: Brexit - Internal Market Bill - Boris incompetent and lying (again)...
Not sure if anyone has been into negotiation, it does get a bit like this, where both sides throw extremes across the table as a last measure to get it done too sound and appear tough, Boris and Cummings know that, as they did the same with their Brexit bus headlines, and the proroguing of Parliament .

If anyone did that in negotiation with me, they'd come across as desperate and unprofessional, not tough.

Is this more of the 'Art of the Deal' type-shit which Trump espouses that has now become what the alt-right see as 'tough negotiations'? Basically demand everything without compromise and then moan and point the finger of blame if the other party doesn't agree.
That's how my 4 year old 'negotiates' with me when it's bedtime... Not really how governments are supposed to act.

I've attended numerous meetings with foreign government officials (and prepared briefing documents for those meetings) and not one of them could be typified by your characterisation.

He's living on Fantasy Island again. Mind you it's not his fault: when you've been force-fed all the Brexit Bullshite you have no choice but to acquiesce.

I have quite a bit but it sounds nothing like your experience. What were you trying to achieve, what did you threaten the other party with and what was the outcome?
