Rovinj? Yeah I've been there.

Lovely country, have been there three times after Wales games in the Balkans over the last few years for a few days on the coast. Stayed in Cavtat in the south and also in the capital Zagreb. Used the latter as as a base to visit the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park. Loved everywhere we went/stayed.

Liked Croatia so much that we are off there for some non-football related R&R for a couple of weeks next Thursday.

Croatia looks like Shangri La whether you are from Cwmbran or a down at heel district of north Cardiff.

I am flying off a week Sunday and visiting Bulgaria, Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia - but I won't be asking you lot about whether I need Euros :-)

What a lovely bunch of people the Croatians are. Very happy, generous and helpful. Pleased to speak with English speaking people and even more pleased to find that these English speaking people are in fact Welsh!

Not a hint of racism and in no way backwards at all. I guess, as they say, you reap what you sow. Sorry to hear you had such a bad time with such a nice group of people.
