Bottom of the Premiership table for youth development too.
"Great for Welsh football"??

Re: Good Day For Welsh Football
I took on a £50 bet with a Jack Bastard last week. If they stay up my wallet will be £50 lighter

There needs to be a lot more done to develop and play young Welsh talent at the Jacks and here - apart from the emergence of Mark Harris it's probably Jazz Richards who has done best out of us and Swansea in recent times - but that doesn't mean as many Welsh teams as possible in the highest league isn't a good thing.
Re: Good Day For Welsh Football
Ben Davies and Joe Allen were the only Wales regulars at the Euros produced by Swansea, Gunter, Ledley and Ramsey were the only ones produced by us
Wayne Hennessey - Wolves
Chris Gunter - Cardiff
Ashley Williams - West Brom
James Chester - Manchester United
Ben Davies - Swansea (and strangely 3 years at Viborg in Denmark)
Neil Taylor - Wrexham
Joe Ledley - Cardiff
Joe Allen - Swansea
Aaron Ramsey - Cardiff
Gareth Bale - Southampton
Hal Robson-Kanu - Reading
At this point I think its unrealistic to expect that the majority of Welsh internationals will be produced by one of Cardiff or Swansea, especially with dual nationality
Re: Good Day For Welsh Football
Will Newport, and now probably Swansea, staying up be good for Welsh football? Probably not. And while I can understand why many don't give a shit about County or the jacks, I'm pleased for Newport. Had they gone out of the league, chances ar, if the WRU had their way, then they'd probably have gone out of existence as well.

Do you think West Ham want other London clubs to do well? On the evidence of last night clearly not Tottenham.
Do Manchester United fans want other clubs in the North West region to do well? I wont even insult you by answering that question?
SO why the f*ck would we want clubs like Swansea or Newport, whos fans hate us by the way, to do well?
What is football, or sport for that matter, without rivalry?
Personally, i don't give a flying **** about West 'am, Tottenham (especially having lived in the shit-hole of an area for three years), or any other fackin' London team, Football league or Non League are doing!
I do however car passionate about ANY Welsh team in the English football league system.
I just can't get wound up about the jacks. I remember the the home and away games v Bristol City in the late 60s/early70s. Proper rivalry! So what if some of the more chavvy element of Cewnty fans hate us? I don't hate them. They have always been my 2nd team since the early 70s, when I'd go with my dad to watch them occasionally who City were playing away. Who I like and who I do not like is not and never will be dictated to me by some feckin' pathetic morons.

No Mr Hartley, I haven't!
Only City really for me. I do have a softs spot for cewnty though, because as previously mentioned I would go along with my dad to watch them occasionaly when City were playing away. However, I always do look out for the results of the other Welsh teams in the English pyramid system i.e. the jacks, Wrecsam, Merthyr and Colwyn Bay
