Can I just say I am stunned with the amount of support I've received from here already. I've been reading/posting on this board for 8-9 years and I am so thankful that in the worst of times everyone is an absolute gent.
Thank you so much to all of you, I am hurting a lot and I have just been violently sick but it's all part and parcel I guess.

It all happens for a reason though.
Kids die of starvation because there's not enough food and the Catholics tell the, that birth control is a sin.
The holocaust happened because Hitler was a fecking loon.
Anyway, stop bringing the thread down. We're supposed to be cheering up the OP.

Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
You WILL find someone better.
I was engaged in 1976 ( :yikes: ) but it didn't work out.
Met my wife in 1981, been married 35 years with 4 great kids (Got to say that - one of them reads this board :hehe: )

Unable to resist the temptation, the man goes into the shop. "I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make. I'd very much like to listen to the new LP you have advertised in the window."
"Certainly, Sir," says the young man behind the counter. "If you'd like to step into the booth and put on the headphones, I'll put the LP on for you."
The world expert on European wasps goes into the booth and puts on the earphones.
Ten minutes later, he comes out of the booth and announces, "I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make and yet I recognised none of those."
"I'm sorry sir," says the young assistant. "If you'd care to step into the booth, I can let you have another 10 minutes."
The world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make steps back into the booth and replaces the headphones.
Ten minutes later, he comes out of the booth shaking his head. "I don't understand it," he says, "I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make, and yet I still can't recognise any of those!"
"I'm terribly sorry, sir" says the young man, "perhaps if you'd like to step into the booth again, you could have 5 more minutes."
Sighing, the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make steps back into the booth.
Five minutes later, he comes out again, clearly agitated. "I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make and yet I have recognised none of the wasps on this LP."
"I really am terribly sorry," says the young assistant. But .
.
"I've just realised I was playing you the bee side."
Is it THAT time of the year again?

Saw a poster today which said "Millions of children in Africa are dying from malaria - To prevent this tragedy all we need do is provide mosquito nets. For a donation of just £3 - the price of a sandwich - you could save a life."
Really makes you think doesn't it?
Three quid for a ****ing sandwich.

Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
Sorry to hear that Zenith, it sounds hard but try to avoid any contact with her, you will be going through a mixture of feelings right now and contact will just mess with your mind, having no contact will also give you the clarity you need to remember who you are and what you want, good luck on your new adventure. :-) x

Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
We've all been there pal. Unfortunately, it's all part of life, and you just got to get though it as best you can.... What works for one person won't work for another, and all the advice in the world won't make a difference, when it comes to this kind of shit. You'll be ok, time is a great healer👍 I found distancing myself from everything to do with my ex, for a while, was the best way for me

Then booted my heart into the Taff river
Has she really gone off with a much bigger man

Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
Mrs R gave you perfect advice . Cut off all contact , erase all social media . Friend of mine split up with his wife a few months ago but retains her as a friend on Facebook , he follows her around in other words , it is sad as the relationship is over .
Today is the first day in the rest of your life , it will take a little time , but there are lots and lots of young ladies out there looking for a young man .
I haven't drawn the ball yet ( been really busy ) you could win that

Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
Woke up this morning about 6am, got about 3 hours at most. Just physically drained, incredibly nauseous and in a general bad state as it caught me in such a shock. Will try to work later but staying in bed for a bit.

Feel for you Zenith boy. Many a man throughout history has been brought to his knees by the hairy triangle. Hopefully a City win tonight will ease your pain👍

You'll be OK, it will be absolutely awful for a while but lean on the people close to you and try and get stuff off your chest, otherwise it just gnaws away at you. Try and distract yourself as well. Time is a great healer!

I'll be in a bar in France as I have been for each game so far this season. Disappointed with myself tbh that I haven't made it back.
I digress - hope you'll be ok Zenith. Time and exercise are my 2 remedies for what it's worth.

As others have said, just give yourself some time. You might not think so now but every day it'll get that little bit easier.
As much as you probably don't feel like it, get down to the game tonight. Meet some friends, have a drink or two and forget about it all for 90 minutes.

Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
I've lived with two, split up with two so have basically had all the grief of divorces without a good day on the piss at the start.
I've been on loss of dates and done a bit of shagging.
I'm happy.........
Nah not really I'd rather be married single life sucks.
Hope this cheers you up. 😉😂😂

Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
I don't mean to bring this forum right down but thanks so much for all comments so far.
As well as this I've been talking to my friends about it and one of my friends, well she is very depressed. The last few weeks she has been suicidal and she said she probably will do it at some point this week.
She lives in Kent so not exactly a trip around the corner for me to go around everyday for an hour but please if anyone has advice, can you point me in the right direction as this is turning into the worst couple of days of my life.
-
Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
Buy a penis pump, you are obviously lacking somewhat compared to your competitors.
Thank me later

Keep her talking mate, all lines if communication whether it be social media, phones or face to face.
Just over two years ago I had a dark period in my life which in my case was exacerbated by the anti depression medication I was taking Citalopram.
I stopped taking it and thankfully all the lights were switched back on so to speak in a few days. I'm not saying that your friend is that near a quick remedy but where's there life there's hope.
All the best to her and you 👍👍👍

Re: Lads I'm struggling tonight
The pain will ease over time, it really does!
Surround yourself with good company, good hobbies and maybe even volunteer for something that takes your fancy where you're likely to meet new people and have a fresh start from it all.
