This is what annoys me about Welsh rugby

Also the famous story of Mike Phillips being sat on by a bouncer outside mcdonalds or the recent footage of Gareth Davies attacking an old man with a shoe.

The Tafia really do fall over themselves in not condoning these actions, like someone said, they celebrate it.

I've seen the cctv footage of the incident in the pub and Powell is clearly seen being knocked out, he's lying on the floor sparked out with a bloodied face and his mate is shitting himself backing away.

The reality is that the majority of rugby players are decent sorts and it is a small number of individuals in reported incidents that push the negative stereotypes.
Footballers are hardly innocents on the nights out lest we forget some recent high profile stories.
As for the initiation rites rugby , sadly, seems to revel in those but it is hardly the only sport to include humiliation in its joining rituals. Granted the Cowbridge example is pretty horrible but then again they are a strange bunch over there.

The double standards we football fans have to put up with is a disgrace , Henson could have taken someone's eye out ......yet the police intervene and do nothing !!

Byrne is signing his new warts and all book at various locations around south Wales in November , I think I will give it a miss
