Then we need to pray for them

I've always been if the same opinion, won't go in the local "just for 1 or 2' as I think a drink is a drink and I'll always have more, don't drink in the house either as it goes.
I'd never voluntarily have the odd couple, but I have been awkwardly positioned in such a scenario.. "oh only the 2 is it mate that box for Xmas is it" I'd rather not have the alcohol, and it's not a macho thing, I just don't see the point.
But we're all human and I definitely see the thinking behind Matt's opinion, nothing wrong with a cold pint to end the day.
**** all wrong with your kids pouring drinks either.
I don't think drunk in front of kids is great, as in continuing from sober to bolloxed. A sociable night with drinks exchanged is always dependant on the situation..
I've got plenty of stoner mates who will tell you you'll never see them in trouble etc.. and I'm pretty open to anyone that knows me about any drugs.
Not that I can smoke them, but 6 joints over 6 cans I'll go with. Not for me but never any trouble..

It is the nicest bourbon I have ever had. So smooth you can drink it without ice.
Each to their own, but I’ve never understood this fascination of putting ice in Whiskey/Bourbon ! To me it’s like putting tomato sauce on a roast dinner, totally not needed and spoils the taste.
And as for putting ICE in cider, WTF is that all about, have a glass of water if you need cooling down
