I'm not a Cardiff City supporter but I've long felt Craig Bellamy could be an outstanding manager. But he'll need to be given time and supported if he attempts to put his stamp on the squad.

If Bellamy gets the job will he have Hudson as an assistant?
(One for the 'Upstairs, Downstairs' fans)
That's hardly fair, there can't be too many managers in the country who would not be getting stick, or losing their jobs, after six straight defeats in the middle of the season - it's one thing to finish a season with a terrible run like Palace did last year, but another completely for it to happening while there's a chance of the club being dragged into a relegation scrap.
It's a massive opportunity and Bellamy is the man after the man after Warnock (if that makes sense). Bellamy will get more time than most and expectations have been lowered. I agree with everything you've said. He was linked with the Oxford and Wrexham jobs during his time here, he won't get a better offer.
It also answers the question of whether he could do it, like Shearer at Newcastle, Lampard at Chelsea, and Gerrard at Liverpool when Klopp leaves.

I just can't see Bellamy being back at the club in any form with the current owners in charge.
Think hell be back in the British game at some point, but I see him as an assistant somewhere (a bit like Arteta) before getting a club of his own.
Or bring in Bellamy with an older assistant like Pulis. But for me Bellamy and Hudson would be excellent.
We should have brought in a Director of Football years ago...
It won’t happen but Vincent Komoany & Craig Bellamy would be the way to go but only if given guaranteed time.
Lots were taking a massive poo on OGS (little manager exp) when he was here. You are only as good as your tools and clearly we had a pile of shite.
I think the only option and way forward would be Bellamy.
Phil Blanche says the club aren't interested. Now, that could be because they know he isn't but stilll...

I'm a personal friend of his now long-time live in lover. someone asked her one evening why she was with "that horrible man" as she si the sweetst girl you could imagine, and you'd think easily hurt."
Her reply was words to the effect of "He is wonderful to me. He's the nicest man I've ever met."
So I suppose you should take people as you find them.
And no it wasn't the money talking, her family has enough themselves.
