No.

We could be playing a back four with Brown at left back or it could be that Bacuna plays left wing back - we really are down to the bare bones when it comes to defenders, there isn’t one on a bench where we’ve got no end of attacking players, but Lord knows what we do if a defender gets injured.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It definitely looks like a back four. 4-3-2-1 set-up.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Doesn't really matter who plays at the back - the jacks are a bunch of professional cheats....
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Im suprised theyve picked Hourihane.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The defenders we can put out do not fill me with confidence - a back 5 containing Ralls, Sang, Brown and Flint - hmmm, hope I’m wrong but as well as concerns defensively, not having any proper wing backs takes away a lot of our attacking threat too

I can't see that being a 4-2-3-1, it would mean one of Bacuna/Vaulks/Pack/Ralls out wide and as a 10
Looks like Mick remembers Ralls' brief dalliance as an emergency left back
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Another possibility is Pack is playing as the 3rd centre half. With Brown an Sang wing backs.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Brown left centre back , Ralls on the left of a 4. Sang on the right.

Bit naughty of the ref to pull Ralls over for a chat and then let them lot take the free kick with him out of position

Who else thinks Ciaron Brown look like a 90s magician

Yes, I thought Moore should have gone to ground.

I never cease to be amazed how people can see and say things like this. He is one of the main reasons why we have only lost once in the last 12 games and are winning today. He gets through an incredible amount of work every game and has scored important goals as well.

Yeah maybe but then the chance to make it 2-0 was there.
Sang has been excellent. How Harris didn't look at him I don't know.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Wish Moore had scored so I could relax a bit, playing well defensively but my nerves are shot!
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Swansea not creating much but we need to make sure we’re still creating chances 2nd-half.

I’d prefer he try and score than get their keeper sent off tbh. The foul was outside the area.

An Abertawe Town t wat would have, but we’re not cheats
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Good half. Sang impressive again. I’d like to see him centre mid when we have two wing backs fit.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
ayew to score for them to spoil the party and then to see if we can hang on for a point

Agreed, but the keeper obviously went for the ball, missed and made contact with Moore. He was the last man too.

Good combination on the break by Moore and Wilson.
This is a tough watch!
