Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread
That is the most depressing lineup I’ve seen in a while. Glad I decided against going down

Mick going for the world record for the amount of centre halves you can fit into one starting XI.
More front than Brighton the lad.
Rumour has it he wanted to play two goalkeepers but TC talked him out of it.

No pace but at least we can sit back and play the long ball to Moore.... Oh wait.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread
Never thought anyone could be worse than lennie Lawrence. The braindead Mr burns lookalike was perfectly summed up by his decision to play Leo as a left winger. Now another useless scrote with a Mr burns haircut decides that Nelson and brown are wingbacks. Fack sake

Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread
The team has that "lose to a league two side in the cup " kinda feel to it.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread
Mick is playing his trump card by getting the groundsman to repaint the touchlines 20 foot further in, and not picking any wide players, at all.

Haha your fault.
Well last time I had a big moan about a line up we won something like 5-1 when he just took over so let's hope.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread

It's all about throw-ins and corners. And that's it.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread
I bet we win, it would be the most Cardiff thing in the world to win this 1-0
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread
This line up says to me "I'm never getting sacked so you can all piss off."

I'm looking at the line-up on the BBC site and I genuinely can't work out what McCarthy's trying here. Brown and Nelson as wing-backs? So you're probably right, 1-0 City. With a header. From a corner or a throw-in. Obviously.

Due to the style of play, I don't think all is well in the WBA camp, although light years away from how things are with us. Ironically this puts more pressure on their manager to deliver a win. Saying that, if he can't get his team to beat this line-up then maybe he'll be joining MM in a search for new employment very soon.

Bacuna RWB , Giles LWB , Pack sitting in front of a 5 man central defence. Vaulks long throws. Collins no idea.

I was considering paying Cardiff City TV to watch the game but Mick's just saved me a tenner.

Pitch looks in good though ....

You don’t think it’s the other James Collins making a comeback do you?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread
We played a back four with four centre-backs under Warnock, but I can't remember him managing to get five of them on the pitch.

Surprised they didn't score from the breakaway, but you have to ask who was trying to close him down??
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread
Bring on a centre half Mick.
Sure it up a bit.

Morrison was watching him from about two yards away if that counts?
