Merthyr Town FC, what's going on there?

Merthyrs current website is not very good. It is partly out of date and covered in adverts, making it difficult to navigate properly. Also their fan ownership model is rather strange. They appear to have about 180 ‘owners’ currently but the max ownership fee appears to be £519 a season, which means they are only putting in just over £90000 a year. Even adding in match day revenues and commercial activities, it is very difficult to run a club on that and progress, which must explain their current difficulties attracting players.
