for https://www.gambling.com/news/gareth...g-odds-3047500
Antonio Conte will have his own ideas of what his squad needs, and he will not be shy in letting his superiors know if he does not deem Bale a good fit. Odds of 2/1 on the best betting sites should therefore be taken with a degree of caution.
Cardiff City Are Shock Second-Favourites To Sign Bale
Cardiff City do not sign players from Real Madrid very often, and you will not find their name mentioned in connection to other four-time Champions League winners.
Yet Bale is a unique case, and various comments he has made in the last year or so have given the impression that he has something unusual up his sleeve.
“It just has to happen after the Euros,” Bale told Sky Sports when quizzed about his future towards the end of his time on loan at Tottenham. “I know what I'm doing but it'll just cause chaos if I say anything now.”

I'd like to see him sign for Atleti or Barcelona.

Not sure it always works out when players come back.

could be way out but just for an example.
that would mean that he'd be effectively paying about £6 million quid a year to play for us.
he'd have to want to play for is a LOT.
Not really as he'd pay 50% tax i'd imagine.
One factor to consider is that he has a personal contract with Adidas, they might have an interest in where he ends up next season.

I'm just imagining Morison coming out and slating Bale after a bad performance, saying he's got a lot to learn

"I took Gareth off after 60 minutes because he just wasn't defending from the front. Tom had gone through what was expected of him and he fell way short; The fact that he had scored three goals, set up the other two and won us a penalty doesn't wash with us as a club and what we expect from our players"

They genuinely should look at him on a 1 year contract

Re: Could we realistically sign Gareth Bale next summer?
Bumped into Bale this weekend in my City shirt gave him a nod, then winked and did a slight quick aylotaloh. 😳

One of your funniest attempts, really is:thumbup::hehe:

Re: Could we realistically sign Gareth Bale next summer?
I don't think Gareth Bale would have the season-long impact that Craig Bellamy gave us.
-
Re: Could we realistically sign Gareth Bale next summer?
Just dont think it would work, even if finances could be sorted. Bale, with, hopefully , his WC commitments for Wales and his injury record would be disruptive to a team that Morison is trying to build.

Bellamy or Bale? Which one would you imagine to be more disruptive? ......Bellamy came through with flying colours.

Think your right Bella's looked a lot fitter than Bale does now , perhaps a bit of Morison tough love might sort that out

I think he would be a lot better than Bellamy was for us, I think he would still be a top premier League player

Re: Could we realistically sign Gareth Bale next summer?
I'd like both Bale and Ramsey here; come home lads right now.

Love to see him here, but surely too complicated, finances apart.

Re: Could we realistically sign Gareth Bale next summer?
Cannot believe there are people here saying they wouldn’t want one of the best if not the best British player off all time who just happens to be from this City playing for Cardiff when he clearly still has so much to offer.
It’s f**king mad.

Can you imagine the extra "bums-on-seats" with Bale's signing!!

I do wonder if we went for it and invested in both Bales and Ramsey with the extra footfall and merchandising would it make sense if it got you up ??
( Up in the premiership way obviously )

Season ticket sales would rocket, particularly in the family stand I’d imagine, kids would be plaguing their mams & dads to get the chance to see him. First home game would sell out.

That doesn't mean a lot of money has been wagered. Transfer markets are small and the bookies take no chances for obvious reasons.

I wonder if bookies raise false flag odds' shortening to get the innocent to jump on a price as it shortens
