Salah scores, now level for the Golden Boot, what a day!
C’mon Man City
Wrexham 1 down, they’re having a shocker, they’ll lose in the playoffs if they play like this.
Going to be a few more minutes at the Etihad, Man City may be down to ten or play on with an injured ‘keeper.
Leeds staying up. 2 - 1 up at Brentford
City champions
Great goal by Harrison, Leeds are staying up.
Burnley have financial problems as well it seems,
Thank f*ck for that!!!!!! Quadruple my arse:hehe::hehe::hehe:
What a dramatic end to a season.
Unbelievable Jeff!
Best 3 for us to play and have a chance have come down .
Guardiola in bits!
Never seen him like that before.
More chance of Drameh being loaned out again now?
Spurs will be interesting next season if Conte stays, Chelsea will be losing a few key players, and Man Utd will have a new manager.
Wow. What a day. Football. Bloody hell. Unbelievable Jeff.
Final day analysis:
Man City did their bit
Liverpool did their bit
Leeds did their bit
Burnley f*cked up
Burnley’s draw at the Villa gave them the upper hand. Unfortunately they couldn’t make it count today.
Yes, with repayments to the owner to be increased in the event of relegation….
Pity about Leeds buy thank feck Liverpool didnt win the league.
I know its trendy on here sometimes to say league 2 is better to watch but todays football was top top quality and entertainment.
Yes, today the Premier League more than lived up to the hype, but year in, year out, it gets coverage that other leagues can only dream about and there have been seasons where Sky would have been trying to make us believe that it was so, so important whether Man United made into the Europa League or not because all of the important stuff had already been sorted out.
Also, since you mention League 2, just imagine what Sky would have made of what happened to Bristol Rovers and Northampton on the last day of the season if they gave that division the wall to wall attention they give to the Premier League.
I ended up watching Jeff for the first half, last 15 minutes of the Trophy final, Man City - Villa until about 75 minutes, switched to the Liverpool game thinking they were going to win the title. When news came of City's 3rd goal I turned over to the Brentford - Leeds game, then when they went 2-1 up, back to S4C for the rest of the Trophy final.
Hoped Man City would bottle it, hoped Leeds would go down and wanted Wrexham to win the cup. That went well! :hehe:
I have no love for County, Swansea or Wrexham. Why should I? In other news, I don't like either of the Bristol clubs. Call me crazy.
Even teams like Norwich were 13th biggest spenders in all of Europe in the summer. Its just a black hole.
We got promoted twice and got excited about the 150 mil or whatever but both times came down with a crapper side than we went up with, and spent 50 million plus huge wages each time for the privilege. Both times we ended up facing relegation within a couple of seasons while receiving parachute money.
Looking forward to the fresh start next season.
Norwich ended up with twenty two points, twelve less than we managed in 18/19, but they did even worse in 19/20 when they had twenty one points, yet they still managed to win the Championship the following season - we really have ballsed it up on the two occasions we were back in the Championship with the, unfair, advantage the parachute payments should have given us.
