Absolutely right. Take Robinson out of the equation and we could play with possibly anybody in their place and even if they failed to score they would match the zero goals that the rest produce on a regular basis.

Fantastic player. That one season he had in his twilight years at Villa he was absolutely brilliant.

There's no doubting the squad has degraded by increments since relegation, but I'd suggest this squad is easier to build on than the one which started last season. Managers always need a couple of 'windows' at least, and I think Morison would have strengthened in key areas in this one. Not sure how much strengthening can be done within the 36hrs remaining though..

sawyers has been a big disappointment.

the centre backs we let go in the summer were Ciaron Brown and Aden flint. Neither of whom I would have wanted us to keep

Wouldn't be too gutted about Harris going.

Gets in some great positions but always seems to leave it too long to pull the trigger.
Tries to walk it in. Ultimately ends in his shot being blocked or some rushed effort because he's being closed down.

Seems to have come from The Sun reporter Alan Nixon. He does throw out a lot of stuff and some of it sticks, all looks to be based on one of his tweets

I think this squad is going to be really hard to build on because we've got so many players contracted for next season. We'd have been better off going loan heavy and gradually building. Who is going to take players like Daley-Campbell (he's 22 in April!), Simpson and Sawyers off our hands?

Re RJK on Brown and Flint, I'd take either over Simpson. And we loaned McGuinness out as well. I think that's worked in our favour, though. Sabri and co have a big job on their hands. I do not get Joe Bennett coming back, I think it is clear we are desperate and out of options. Harris would be half decent in League One too :hehe:

I know a Wednesdayite and he'd be shocked if Patto was let go. He's got back in the team and doesn't think they'd loan him given their position. He's been strongly linked to Hearts, too but Moore says he wants to keep him. We'd almost certainly have to pay a fee, which we can't do. Think it is a non starter.

Harris would be alright if we dropped down. Bennett wasn't an automatic starter for Wigan last season, let alone this.
