Long balls maybe, but with O'Dowda and Romeo as wing backs I'm hoping for a major increase in quality crosses for the big lads!
Then if that doesn't work on to Plan B in the second half - Ojo, Robinson and Philogene, with Wickham thrown on with 10 to go.

I guess he can find a pass better than the others, which isn’t hard. I think he suits a middle 3 than the middle 2 he has been used in recently.
I think Rino or Wintle will end up pushing forward .

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hoofball returns. The passing experiment did not work but let's hope performance improves.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Needed to try something different. Hopefully this will work.

This Sky commentator is already annoying me. It’s the gap in between words lol.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
When Sky showed the teams there was no mention of Wickham on the bench.

Your not missing much, it’s woeful desperate and Brum are just waiting to pick us off.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
You’ve gotta fit Robinson in somehow. He’s our best player.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Is the City commentator going for the world record for pronouncing perhaps wrong this first half.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Brum like a hefty challenge don’t they?
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
5 shots 1 on target. Positive that we’re shooting but the age old problem remains.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
What an awful half.
Did he just say NG, a scouser with a Singapore name.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
brums agression may just lead to there downfall... i dont mind a challenge but we are starting to get some decisions go our way now
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
we've had loads of possession but don't look any where near scoring a goal

It wasn't that good...
A truly terrible 45 minutes of football. Dreadful stuff.

Their no6 looks a right moaner.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The sort of game you’d be confident of City sides of the past going on to win - sadly, all I’m thinking tonight is that it’s shaping up like another 1-0 defeat.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Worst half of football I've seen in a long time. Brum clearly unsettled by our long ball tactics have created nothing. We've had one.
Just one goal will win this game.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Who else is playing tonight ?
I mean our rivals not Premier league nonsense

Birmingham look as awful as us. And the pitch is a disgrace harking back to the dreadful pitches of the 1970's.

Don't be daft. It's not the best of playing surfaces by today's standards, but it's nothing like the 70's pitches. I fear the woeful standard of football is making it look worse than it actually is. It seemed fine on Friday night.
