Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Having refreshed my memory of the Watford squad, I’d take a 0-0 draw right now. Sarr could easily rip us apart

Our best players are either injured (Robinson, O'Dowda) or on loan with one foot out the door (Philogene, Kipre).
Everything else is a steamy pile of useless shit.
Watford 2-0.
O’Dowda is playing.

I still feel the hurt immediately after a defeat but by the following morning that horrible feeling of despair is no longer there.

Yes, same mate. I’ve learnt to let the anger go.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We’ve got a good few attacking players on the bench ready to come on when we go 2 or 3 goals behind
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I really do hope we get three points out of this game, but a draw seems more likely. As long as we don't lose....
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Law of averages says Watford are due a home defeat to be comparable to teams around them......or is that wishful thinking?
Why are Watford in white shirts??? oh they've taken their tops off now....

Oh Dear.
That was incredibly bad.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Fair play, that first 10 minutes is impressive how bad we played. We are dreadful and yet, they still find ways to play worse.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Been coming.....one way traffic.....Jeepers...no pressing or energy again.
oh and QPR are 1-0 up...

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
That opening was depressingly familiar
Passive, soporific garbage followed by an inevitable goal.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Ref missed a blatant handball, we go upfield and give it away cheaply, then leave one of their players in acres of space in the box
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Don't they watch other successful teams and their energy???
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We’re really up for this game aren’t we - they do realise it’s not an eight o clock kick off do they?
If we stick to our normal approach when we go a goal down, it’s game over almost before it’s begun.

It looks like a premier league team against a league 2 team in the cup.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
O'Dowda and Etete arguing. Yeh, we are down
-

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Troubling that Cardiff still find themselves outnumbered when defending in their own box. Looks like a mix of Wintle and O'Dowda not dropping back to assist covering McGuiness who was left with the thankless task of defending against 2 men.
Nothing ticking in terms of progress up the pitch, 2-3 passes before a sloppy one is swept up easily by the Hornets. And they are pressing Cardiff throughout the opening 15.
Doesn't bode well unless Cardiff force themselves on this game.

Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Shocking passive garbage so far, just waiting to lose
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Currently in bottom three, if it stays that way we won’t leave
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’ll say it again hoping I look a fool when he knocks a couple in but I don’t see how Etete is starting, bet defenders love playing against him.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
AT least the commentators seem fair.
-
Re: WATFORD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I can see us staying out of the bottom 3 until Huddersfield beat us
-

we are now in the bottom 3
