They were always going to keep getting delayed, they are all full so will need much more frequent trips back to empty the bin lorry.

That is probably true, however, rescheduling green bin collections has been a regular feature in recent times even when there hasn't been an industrial dispute. In my experience the Council's record in collection of all other refuse has been pretty good, it's the green bins is where they haven't quite got their act together.

Yes true it's been a poor service to be fair, low priority for them.

Many around by me have left theirs out since September hoping for the same. Last week they were able to take them back in.

A tale as old as time on this forum. The UK has voted repeatedly for cuts to councils and other public services. So obviously those services will get worse.
