Thinking that someone with a Jewish name might be Jewish?

I mean if someone said that bloke called swartz .......he's a jew .....I don't like Jews etc etc ......then clearly you could argue that kind of comment is racist

I guess it's a stereotype so in that sense racist. It's also not always accurate. But it often is a good indicator of someone's heritage, if not their current religion, if they have one. Like in JJ's case, or Harvey Goldsmith or George Cohen.
