Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Club record up for grabs tonight - if we win by a single goal, we'll have had the longest run of successive single goal wins in the same season in our history with 11.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Despite it being a nothing game for us, still getting nervous. Hope we can nick a win and give starts to 1 or 2 youngsters.

It would be great to see some youngsters getting game time. Little point in our loanees starting IMO. I'd start Joel Colwill, Ashford and Tanner
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Both Colwills and Ashford on the bench. Ramsey starts.
No defenders among the subs.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I wonder if any of the youngsters will get on. What's the point having them on the bench if you aren't going to give them a go.
At least only 5 more games of Bowler left.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Seen the lineup.
I give up.
See you pre season.
(was thinking even before the lineups were announced we'd probably win 3-0 tonight such is the way our season has gone..nothing to do with my early flounce calling it now)
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Nothing match for us and a survival match for them 3-0
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Had no idea that one time City loanee Dion Sanderson was Birmingham's captain
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
so much for playing the youngsters! all talk again
no..it doesnt count when he brings them on for the last 10 minutes to win over fans. He is clearly desperate for wins to get his contract as that is all that matters to him
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
How many minutes do we think Ashford and J.Colwill will get tonight? I'm going for 15

Ashford will get 5 minutes at the end of a dire 2-0 loss and then there will be a 3 pager on here calling him crap and if he wasn't young and Welsh nobody would rate him
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The pyrotechnics really made me laugh. The glitz and glamor of a half empty Championship stadium on a Wednesday night.

Sounds strangely familiar

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Birmingham have some talented players, they really shouldn't be in the relegation battle and I doubt they would be had their owners not stupidly sacked Eustace
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Blooming eck that was close
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I know they've got more riding on the game but we look so poor
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
blistering start by citeh...they do know that they can go onto brums side of the pitch?
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Goutas is an accident waiting to happen
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Big center forward going wide crossing to nobody in the box. Genius tactics.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Could someone tell Meite he's the striker and should stop pulling out wide?
I know it hasn't worked in every other game, but let's see if it does this time

well I hope you're right as he looked a bit dodgy at the start

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We just had every single player instead of Meite within 30 yards of our own goal, it got played up to Meite who had pulled wide, had to play it 10 yards back to Grant who was catching up with him and then had nobody to pass to and gave it away.
Can somebody explain exactly what the plan is here other than try not to get scored on and nick a goal from a set piece?

We're hoping to bring on young Romaine Sawyers for some much needed experience around the 75 minute mark
Maybe Tanner as well

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Jordan James is such a promising player, even when it looks like he's overrun it he still gets there. Coming up to 100 Championship appearances at 19, already over 100 in all competitions for Birmingham

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It's dreadful, so slow and ponderous, there's no creativity or movement. It's awful

He seemed to be walking ok, but we should take him off, there's no point risking anything now

Colwill (Rubin) for Ramsey
-

Is that the last time we will see Ramsey play - at least for City?

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I don't get how Laird starts ahead of Drameh for Birmingham

We’re playing like a block of lard.
-
Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’d be happier if I turned over to Barca PSG.
Nothing to play for; why do we do this to ourselves :hehe:

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
