15k in our ground making a noise would sound the same whether that tier was there or not.
Acoustics are like statistics
Absolute bollocks in the hands of a clown

Our performances and atmosphere weren’t better pre Ninian extension because of the stadium size. Likewise performances and atmospheres haven’t dropped off a cliff since due to an extra tier being stuck on.
The atmosphere was certainly better with 20 k in a 27 k capacity stadium
It's like a couple with no kids living in a house with 4 empty bedrooms
Why are some of our fans so fecking dense ?

Not many in here today ......the fans groan as they take their seats
And there's plenty of them
Re: EGG, Ospreys moving out of the “TIN SHACK”
It’s a fact that we averaged 30,000 plus in 18/19 and sold out a few times - clearly, the ground is not big enough for some games.
If you include 20/21 when people had to watch the games from home, we’ve had four seasons of losing football at Cardiff City Stadium now and I’d say the performance levels by City have been garbage for about eighty per cent of those eighty odd matches - is it any wonder that the atmosphere is as bad as it’s been recently?

Bang on the money
It’s what happens on the pitch, that makes the atmosphere as bad or as good as you want
12000, 15000 or 20,000 fans in a stadium will generate enough noise and passion if there watching entertaining football.
The idea that seeing fewer fans there is going to affect a players performance is laughable
Most couldn’t give a toss about anything, if they did, we see more effort and bottle than we have seen all season.
With the crowd roaring them on, does anyone think the likes of Bowler would do anything else other than adjust his Alice band a bit more?
Would Wintle turn into an intelligent footballer who can pick a pass out?
It’s an entertainment business and it’s up to the players being directed by the coach to bring the excitement to the game
That’s what gets the crowd going, regardless of how many are actually there

Players are actors, quite literally in many cases
When they run out into ccs on a cold Tuesday night and there's 15 k in a 32 k seater stadium if you think that doesn't hugely contribute to poor performances and a cycle of poor atmospheres then you are also on the list of nutcases

If the ground was built for us to maximise income from sell out crowds then given we have only had two seasons of anything approaching decent gates .....ie when we were in the Premier league .....out of over a decade and a half then it's been a bit of a damp squid 🦑

It's been a damp squid because the football has been dead boring in recent times and we've now reached the stage as well where we're more likely to be involved in relegation fights than promotion ones. Are you arguing that attendances would be the same if we were a side that played entertaining, often winning, football at home and lost virtually all of our away matches hence we were finishing in more or less the same position as we do now? I'd be absolutely amazed if home crowds were still as low as they are now, but, even if they were, the atmosphere would be better than it is now because people were being entertained.
For me, this game is up there in the top twenty best City matches in the new stadium and there was a great atmosphere in the closing minutes that afternoon - the attendance was 10,961.

So, master of all knowledge, explain to me how the empty bedrooms make any difference to the atmosphere in the living room? Should be fun, this....

Spot on Bob (actually, that sounds like a dog flea treatment...)
This is just Sludge doing what he does best - creating multiple pages threads where he ignores fact and keeps repeating his wrong opinion, like a scratched record, until everyone else has got bored.

Even when we have been playing entertaining football our crowds have been a let down
