You do realise that Labour have backtracked on that policy and that everyone in Wales will be worse off as a result, don't you?
Trashed the concept of devolution, acting like an imperial viceroy? She may have flip-flopped on the HS2 money, be it £4 bilion or the £350m that the Welsh Government came up with a few weeks ago but hyperbolic rhetoric like that does little to further your argument.

LibDems got 12% of the vote and 71 MPs
Starmer got 34% of the vote - even lower than Blair in 97 - so the massive will of the people etc - do us all a favour - and shut up

Ah well my arguments are working because Plaid's vote in Cardiff West, where I campaign, went up by about 120% and the Labour vote fell by nearly 40%.
I can't wait for the 2026 and 2027 elections because Plaid are going to win bigly in Cardiff West!

Is that idiot Jonathan Ashworth lost his seat :hehe:
All those years talking nonsense with his lispy wittle voice, talking nonsense about locking down forever, he gets his chance and fails, brilliant :hehe:

Plaid Cymru had a councilor in Ely as recently as 2019. Plaid consistently secure a good vote in council elections in both Ely and Caerau.
I was present at the count last Thursday and our vote was around 15% in Caerau and 18%in Ely. Certain polling districts in those wards saw Plaid's support at around 25%.
Re: One crumb of comfort from the election
...and all of the areas you've mentioned have had Plaid Cymru councillors in the past fifteen years.
