Bryn Mawr is also a suburb of Chicago - and it's unbelievably cold there in winter.

There's an adage in Aberfan/Merthyr which states "I'd rather walk round Brynmawr with a rusty nail in my foot."

As it goes Brynmawr is a great place.

I've lived in a few places outside of Cardiff, but as a Cardiff lad, I couldn't see myself ever living in the valleys.

Ahhhh, the Wyndham. Gets a lot of attention for being rough but it's basically full of characters (or was).

Some of its former landlords/proprietors you wouldn't want to fuuck about with mind. Used to use the pub early morning for City away games years ago.

Cans of Breaker, Red Stripe with amphetamine cut with anadin at 7am was always a decent start to the day.

Looney or Loopy Linda looks like a catch. Might check her out on Tinder.

Wendell is pretty good with his YouTube channel. I like the brief snapshots into the places he goes and he always shows respect to the people, history and area. Seems like a solid lad. His channel's worth a subscribe.

I've been up the valleys for the last 7 years - Cardiff boy through and though and didn't like it at first... but I wouldn't move back now~! people are nicer, less traffic, better views etc.
