I know what you mean and I agree. I like Treorci. Plus it can take 20 minutes to get through the place in peak traffic so there are even more similarities!

There's a Brynmawr in Pennsylvania. They call it Brin-mar. It's quite posh. I was working there one day and told this lady how to pronounce it and what it meant. She didn't give a ****.

Bryn Mawr is also a suburb of Chicago - and it's unbelievably cold there in winter.

There's an adage in Aberfan/Merthyr which states "I'd rather walk round Brynmawr with a rusty nail in my foot."
Interpret as you wish.
As it goes Brynmawr is a great place.
Re: Best Place to Live in the Valleys ?
I've lived in a few places outside of Cardiff, but as a Cardiff lad, I couldn't see myself ever living in the valleys.

I think most people would believe that Chicago can be cold in the winter.

If you want to be very precise in buying a home. Can I suggest st Martin's road in Caerphilly. You get a good size home for your money. Close to both train and bus station
Grandparents lived on St.Martins Rd…. It probably a bit pricey , isn’t it?

Funnily enough, I've just watched this on YouTube. There's a visit to Merthyr and the Wyndham Arms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLNLyQlO_og

I have to keep trying to find new ways around facial recognition software to avoid the Rozzers.

Some of its former landlords/proprietors you wouldn't want to fuuck about with mind. Used to use the pub early morning for City away games years ago.
Cans of Breaker, Red Stripe with amphetamine cut with anadin at 7am was always a decent start to the day.
Looney or Loopy Linda looks like a catch. Might check her out on Tinder.

I might slip those into the suggestions box in The Grange! It's all gentrified these days!
Wendell is pretty good with his YouTube channel. I like the brief snapshots into the places he goes and he always shows respect to the people, history and area. Seems like a solid lad. His channel's worth a subscribe.
Linda's Tinder's going to be red hot after that video! Bless her.
Re: Best Place to Live in the Valleys ?
I've been up the valleys for the last 7 years - Cardiff boy through and though and didn't like it at first... but I wouldn't move back now~! people are nicer, less traffic, better views etc.
