There is a distinct difference between posting opinions on an online forum and posting personal abuse on an individual’s social media accounts.
I suspect you are wrong.
I don't think that cotributions to an online forum, football or otherwise, offers any protection.
The opinions on this board that often slag off players & management are the result of frustration.
When the opinions become personal I wonder what benefit that has to players & management who most likely do read comments on forums.

Well it seems like you in particular have a fairy godmother and you also want your cake
For example you have recently made numerous references to me being on tablets etc etc
I turn the tables on you and the remarks get deleted
You can refer to the manager of this football club being a chancer and a fake.....well below the belt ... yet cry tears when you get a bit dished back
Or it gets deleted either by your fairy godmother or by your fairy godmother when you complain

Of course these things get read from time to time
We know the club in the past has read this and other forums

It's that time of the month when I agree with Sludgey.
There will be people in the club who read this and other forums and absolutely they should be. It's a free focus group of the clubs "customers", even if those of us on here are not representative of the wider fan base.
Imsgine there was a WH Smith's fan forum. Their company would certainly keep an eye on it.
Does anyone know if there is a WH Smith's fan forum by the way. I think their range of magazines are superb, although I hate the robots and the cards are ridiculously overpriced

Yeah he was ok
Although when he changed his name to Elysium , a paradise for the rich, his pro right wing tory stuff became stale

I get what you're saying but his message board personas but his came across as a massive cuunt and a massive shiithouse.
That's all I got to go on and the fact he scurried off before explaining to me why I was an apologist/ supporter of paedophilia has influenced my opinion.
I probably need to let it go! *laughing*

He was hugely pro tory but I spoke to him via pm and a lot of it was done just to take the piss
He was like a 60 year old tory boy Alan Bastard
I did find it funny that his cwmbran parliamentary seat was rock solid Labour 🤣

I doubt the forum is given much credence by the hierarchy in the club.
I know that when i mentioned it to a long standing member of staff , he said you don't get involved in that nonsense do you.
If Risa does come on here to see what we think of him , I doubt he is the man for the job.
Risa stands in front of me at the games and he goes back and forwards to the guy with the i pad as the game progresses
A mad thought has previously gone through my head, that he is saying to his assistant "what are they saying now"
His assistant is reading the forums........
Finally, Mr Sludge , both you and Mr Gunman would do well to ignore each other. No good will come of it.
Re: On line abuse , having an opinion surely isnt on line abuse
The thought of people at the club reading the alternative board :hehe:
