God it really is! I'm having multiple flashbacks.
With that in mind and our attacking line up, I'm going for a 12 all draw.

FTs
Hull 0-1 Luton
Watford 0-0 Plymouth

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Bit of pace up front and probably the back 4 and DM 2 I would have picked, so can't complain about that.
Alves, Ashford and Davies can all play at 10.

We’re due a result. I’m putting (a very small amount) money on us steamrolling them 4-0.

Swansea trailing after just 1 minute.

That's a shame.

Davies has to do better there, shoot or pass. Trying to walk it into the net.

Anyone got a stream for our game today?

Great finish. Given results elsewhere this is a must win at the moment.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Fair play to the manager, this is the best we've looked all season. Can anyone explain why Ashford hasn't been in the side for important games recently?
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Davies has been excellent
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
City playing well, but without stating the obvious, we needa second goal.
Ps have you seen half time scores? Everyone around us winning.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Excellent first half- we seem to be first to the loose ball which has been a rarity this season. Davies has been superb.

Can't make it up - Jacks being dragged back into it as it stands.
Really hope Riza doesn't try to shut up shop around the 60 minute mark. If he sticks with the side and the way we are playing now we will get goals as Wednesday have to push forward. But I fully expect to see Meite and a couple of defensive subs at some point.

Last 15 minutes they've taken control, am I being harsh by saying riza should have made changes sooner instead of his 60 minute predictability
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Think that's harsh to be honest, based on the first 45 he'd have been crucified for changing it. Think Wednesday have got a rollocking at half time and made some smart subs... only looks like one winner at the moment though. I'd much rather have seen Tanner than El Ghazi.

I’d been shouting at the TV for 5 minutes before they scored…. as they’d moved 3 into midfield.
Now he changes it like for like. I!d have left Mannsverk on and brought on Robertson for one of the 3 young lads

A completely different game this half.
Riza didn’t do anything to counter their 3 changes.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
And the game is wide open now.
The ref is hardly letting the game flow though.

I didnt mean at half time but for 5 to 10 minutes up to the goal they'd completely dominated us in midfield and Bannon was spraying the ball about for fun. Anyway, too late now
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
One of the stranger refereeing performances I've seen, although I'd say marginally in our favor. It seems like he's rolling a dice one some of these decisions.

Exactly.
Everyone could see this. Why couldn’t Riza?
And with everyone else picking up points today bar Hull we can’t afford to give away 2 points here (or worse!)

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
What is the ****ing point of those corners when you are going to get a foul against you any time you touch the keeper
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
I reckon that'll be it for ol' Omer.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Another 2 points dropped from a game that we should have won. Too many draws like this could well send us down.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Match thread
Shit result made slightly better by Swansea and Oxford losing late. Riza did himself no favors with the subs and second half adjustments again - has Ollie Tanner ever trained at right back, because if he has it didn't show. Usual players haphazardly thrown on and hardly got into the game, as right as he got the first half second shows how out of his depth he is.
Worth noting we've now won less games than every team except Plymouth, I think that about sums it up. Think we're favorites to go down at this point seeing how Derby and Luton have picked it up.

I very much doubt it. If they’d wanted to sack him they would have done it by now.
(In some ways these lame draws are just prolonging his stay of execution whilst we amble towards relegation)

I reckon so. Lost count of the number of times we have drawn or lost this season from being 1-0 up. So frustrating!

Yep.
Yet again the opposition changed the game and we stood by and watched.
Poor management.
