Fish has done pretty well after a shaky start.
Goutas and Daland have been error prone this season, also Chambers when he was at the back.
All of those 3 have some pedigree - and Goutas has played well in this league before, Chambers in the premier league.
They haven't all become bad players overnight - there must be something wrong with our defensive coaching / setup / mix of players.
they don't appear to be being asked to do anything which should be beyond them in the way we are trying to play so it's hard to understand what the issue is.
Spot on a good Managerial coaching set up could easily sort them out.

I don't see anything from Horvath, although Alnwick was fairly vocal.
Ng doesn't organise. He's gobby, but not in the sense of giving direction, spotting danger and helping fellow defenders.
Goutas, Daland and Chambers needed to concentrate on their own games to cut out mistakes - they were not (even when Chambers was at CB) leading by example.
Bagan is quiet. Fish is inexperienced and young. O'Dowda doesn't appear to organise or talk much.
There aren't too many leaders in other parts of the pitch either. Robbo and Ralls are - but they're too often in the treatment room.
Agreed that is a team weakness lack of natural leaders, a Gunnarson and Hudson type would certainly help.

We conceded 70 goals with your mate in charge last year with 3 of the same back 4.

Exactly, don't know why some are pretending this is disaster of a season has come out of nowhere, we were shit for most of last season too and reliant on an unsustainable number of set piece goals and late comebacks

It doesn't help we keep signing players that don't start. Something is drastically wrong at the football club, not that much has changed since Tan took over, with Mackay and Warnock papering over the cracks during their time here.

It's still do-able. but we have to score goals and keep clean sheets, and hope everyone else messes up. None of those things look very likely.

It's bizarre that so many of our recent signings don't make the starting eleven.
Other clubs seem to purchase players who are clear improvements on what they've got. Not us.

We had 8 on the bench yesterday and a million pound striker isn't worth the risk so the seat remains empty - that's unbelievable when we are surely at the anything goes stage of the season
All Risa did in the week is diminish the goals simic scored by saying it was an under 18 side he played against - maybe true but why say that at all
Re: Latest Championship Relegation Odds
Having only 8 subs was criminal and shows a lack of preparation by the club
