Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
Was up in Wrexham in September during a game day, they were playing Crawley I think. Such a positive atmosphere full of excitement.
It is the atmosphere and mentality around a team that will dictate how well it does, it's relatively simple. Wrexham are going from strength to strength because of their positive attitude and aim for growth. We are flatlining like a terminally ill hospital patient because of how poorly the club is run, and the rot starts at the top, and affects everyone from the bottom down.
We aren't the only team who are experiencing something like this, Man Utd are in freefall currently because of poor ownership and a toxic environment. They've got a far greater headstart than us though, so they aren't where we are yet.

I assume if they do go up they will be strengthening again, and not all of their current squad will get new contracts.
The ones that don’t will have experience of getting out of League 1. Same goes for Brum.
The only thing that I would suggest taking from Wrexham, is not any of their players, but their formula for running a football club correctly!!
Let's be fair, any side which has been down in the doldrums of the National League, for many years, then suddenly under new owners, achieve 3 successive promotions, have got many things right about running the club in the right way. It can't all be based on pure luck or sticking a finger in the air.
Surely our owner, board members and advisors need to take a long hard look at Wrexham's blueprint for success, as they sail past us to The Championship and we slide ignominiously into Div 1? There are massive lessons to be learnt and a lot of humble pie, to be eaten by certain people.
Wrexham have probably already sat down and worked out their plan of attack and existence in The Championship. They have probably taken on board exactly not what to do, by simply watching our utter incompetence & disastrous existence in the last few years.
Things have to change at our football club and they have to change immediately!!!
What an utter embarrassingly and unforgiveable way to "celebrate" our 125th anniversary year. The club should be ashamed of this utter balls up.

Wrexham are going from strength to strength because they've been paying Championship wages since their last season in non league. I'm pleased for them that they're going up but let's not kid ourselves that it's all because of good vibes and cupcakes

No, it's not just because of the money. If you've ever worked in a good work environment and a bad work environment, you will know the massive difference in morale and how well people perform their duties.
Cardiff right now is toxic beyond belief under this ownership. That's why we are where we are, it affects everyone else at the club. Low morale, low work output. High morale, high work output. That's why new manager bounces are a thing.

Agreed.
Things aren't good from top to bottom.

If it's all down to paying the biggest wages we should have finished in the playoffs this year then, and Coventry and Portsmouth should be where we are.
Money helps, nobody is denying that, but we're proof that success - or lack of - is all about the culture you create and the structures you put in place.
