I don't think Salech is any good

The lad can work well but not in this set up. Many saying he is holding the ball up!! And then what happens? One said he was decent! If someone asked you if you were good at your job! Would you answer decent.
His matches will come when we need a tall striker type player.

I agree with you on all points.

However, the points not mentioned are the reason he's still a good prospect.

• He's almost always in the box sniffing for a goal
• He gets his head on a lot of the half decent crosses
• He does have flickers of brilliant vision (he make a beautiful delicate pass on the edge of the box which unlocked Cheltenham unless im mistaken)

So many of our past strikers drop too deep and are found missing when we have a quick break. Then you'll see the dreaded turn on the ball and passing back to the CBs. If we can play around Salech more he may look an impressive player yet.

Salech is doing what Meite was doing last season. More concerned with the man than the ball. Wish someone would tell him to focus on the ball only. He would be a much better player for it.
